Edna Gladys Priebe, 73, of Greenbush died October 2, 2007 at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. Edna was born April 11, 1934 in Farmington Hills where she was raised. She was a longtime resident of Dearborn Heights, and had been employed by Montgomery Wards and was a longtime employee of the Methodist Children’s Home. Edna moved to Greenbush in 1981. She was an owner and operator of Ronee’s Flowers and was a member of the Auxiliary to the American Legion Post #274 of Oscoda where she was a long time bar manager. Her husband Ronald Leroy Priebe preceded her in death in 1996. Edna is survived by two daughters, Robin Rae (David) Greathouse of Greenbush and Dawn Marie (Mike) Derome of Lincoln, four sons, Ronald L.(Claudette) Priebe, Jr. of Dearborn Heights, Michael L. Priebe of Greenbush, David Eric Priebe of Greenbush and Kemper Priebe of Greenbush, eight grandchildren, Michael, Robert, Melissa, Brenda, Capra, Joel, Christina and Vanessa and several great grandchildren. A memorial service was held Saturday, October 6, 2007 at the American Legion Post #274 Home in Oscoda. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral home, Lincoln.
