Mary Beth McIntyre,36,0f Harrisville died Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at Lincoln Haven Health and Rehabilitation Community. Mary Beth was born in Alpena on November 9, 1970 to George & Elizabeth (Lukes) McIntyre. She was raised in Harrisville, graduating from Alcona High School in 1989. She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church of Harrisville, a member of the Order of Eastern Star Lincoln Chapter 184, a life member of the Order of Rainbow for Girls where she was Grand Representative of Hawaii and was Grand Officer. Mary Beth moved to Traverse City after high school graduation, attended college and was employed as a cashier at Target, moving to Oscoda in 2000. She was employed at Glens of Oscoda before working at Wal-Mart of Tawas. Survivors include her son, Bennett McWain , her parents, George and Betty McIntyre of Harrisville, her sister, Wendy (Phil) Larkin of Taylor, her brother George(Denise) of Durand and several nieces and nephews. Her family will receive visitors beginning at 2 P.M. on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Harrisville where there will be an Order of Eastern Star service at 3:00 P.M. with the memorial service following. Rev. Thomas Welscott will officiate. Her ashes will be interred in West Lawn Cemetery in Harrisville. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
