Richard E. Cutler III, 11, died September 8, 2007 at Grayling Mercy Hospital. Richard was born January 27, 1996 in Alpena. A lifelong resident of Black River, he attended Alcona Elementary School where he was in sixth grade. Richard was a member of the Alcona Packer Football team for two years, was active in motocross where he had won many trophies, played baseball and enjoyed drawing and fishing. He is survived his parents, Richard E.Cutler II and Annette Cutler, two sisters, Danielle (Michael) Vettraino of Livonia and Kristin (Dan) Mark of Grand Blanc, one brother Jayden Cutler, grandparents, Rod and Thelma Cordes of Barton City and Richard Jr. and Pam Cutler of Toledo, Ohio, great grandparents, Mary Cordes of Barton City and Richard and Helen Cutler, Sr. of Pontiac, Aunt Tracy and Chris Alverson, Aunt Peggy Dyer, Uncle Al and Aunt Linda Dyer, one niece, Kierra Streefkerk and two nephews, Hunter and Logan Mark and a cousin, Sydney Franklin. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 12, 2007 from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. The funeral will be held Thursday, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Laraine Sundin officiating.
