Lawrence Edward Parmenter

Lawrence E. Parmenter, 89, of Lincoln, Michigan, formerly of Northville, died Sept. 7, 2007. Born Sept. 13, 1917 in Detroit he served in the Navy in WWII. He married Lucille Price who preceded him in death on May 20, 1998. He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons and a member of the Alpena Shrine Club and a longtime member of Lost Lake Woods Club. Survivors include two daughters Cheryl (Ron) Bartholomew, Patty (John) Bishop, one son, Gary Parmenter, three grandchildren Michael, Courtney and Kristin, five great grandchildren, Jessie, Sydney, Jake, Hailey and Parker and one sister, Ruth (Bruce) Arnold. Memorials suggested to Hospice of Michigan, Northeast Region. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
