Freeda Jean McMaster

Freeda Jean McMaster, 90, of Mikado, died Sunday, March 11, 2012 at home. She was born July 4, 1921 in Lincoln to Sydney and Jenny (Yuill) Somers. Raised in Lincoln, she married Wayne McMaster on May 30, 1944. They were longtime residents of Wayne MI retiring to Bradenton Florida. Her husband preceded her in death December 16, 2001. Freeda has recently lived in Mikado. She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Joseph) Drean of Mikado and Karen Johnson of Mikado, two sons, Terry (Mittie) McMaster of Ypsilanti and Michael (Deborah)McMaster of Grosse Ile, six grandchildren, Aaron, Jason(Jodi), Kristin McMaster, Kara(Andrew)Scheetz, Jeremy Johnson and Martha Johnson and one great grandson, Blayne McMaster. A memorial service will be held this summer. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
