Charles A. Thomas

Charles A. Thomas,70, of Spruce, died December 16, 2011 at home. He was born April 4, 1941 in Sunbury Pa to Richard and Sarah (Conrad) Thomas. Raised in Pennsylvania and Wayne, he married Suzanne Clark in 1961. They were longltime residents of Plymouth, moving to Spruce in 2003. He was the former owner of Wayland Foods of Wayne and was a member of Wayne's Civitan organization. He is survived by his wife,Sue, and two sons, Charles (Charles Coleman) of Ann Arbor and Matt (Marianne) of Canton, two grandsons, Brandt and Matthew. He was preceded in death by his sister June Bolig and brother in law Dixon Bolig.Memorial services will be held Thursday, December 29, 2011, 4:00 P.M at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
