Richard Reames

Richard Alan Reames, age 54 of Spruce, died Friday, November 25, 2011 at Lincoln Haven Health and Rehab Community in Lincoln. He was born March 24, 1957 in Harrisville to Robert and Genevieve (Waszkiewicz) in Harrisville. Raised in Mikado, he graduated from Oscoda High School in 1975. Richard was a licensed building contractor; he lived in Barton City, moving to Petoskey in 1980 and returning to Barton City in 1990, later moving to Spruce. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Anne and one daughter, Michele (Ron) Wambold of Harrisville, three grandchildren Brett, Kaylee and Jena Wambold. His father Robert (Ethel) Reames of Glennie, two sisters, Mary (Chuck) Harmon of Mikado and Sally (Ray) Gingrich of Midland, two brothers, David (Marcia) of Temperance and Alan (Debbie) of Charlotte, and several nieces and nephews His mother preceded him in death on November 29, 2000. Cremation arrangements have been made by Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. In accordance with his wishes, no funeral services will be held.
