Herman Francisco

Herman E. Francisco, age 86, of Barton City, Mi died Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at home. He was born December 13, 1924 in Van Buren to Nelson and Louise (Grundman) Francisco. He served in the Army Air Force in WII, and married Shirley M. Tarrant on Dec, 15, 1945. They were residents of Monroe from 1950 until moving to Barton City in 1991. Shirley preceded him in death in 2002. Herman retried after working as a pipefitter for Ford Motor Co. He attended Sunnyside Methodist Church of Curran. Survivors include his daughter, Jean (Lloyd) Moody of Barton City, his daughter in law Virginia Francisco of Monroe, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son James in 1984, one sister, Elizabeth Miller and three brothers, Frank, Robert and James Francisco. No funeral services are planned. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln His ashes will be interred in Curran Cemetery.
