Denny L Street

Denny L. Street, 55, of Oscoda, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Saginaw St. Mary’s. Denny was born on November 12, 1955 in Grand Rapids, MI. He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years, retiring to Oscoda in 1993. He married Katherine Zacharkewicz, on October 9, 1999, in Wichita Kansas, where they resided for a year before returning to Oscoda. He loved John Wayne movies, and was an avid fisherman. Denny is survived by his mother; Velma Street of Wichita KS, two sons; Gregory (Vickie) Street of Oscoda, and Jason (Deanna) Street of Benton Harbor MI, three grandchildren; Jesse and Amber Street and Daniel Grube, four step children; Tammy Berry-Antonucci of Fredericksburg VA, Michael (Cynthia) Berry of Tucson AZ, and Stephan and Christopher Berry of Attleboro MA, six sisters, and two brothers, as well as many nieces and nephews. His wife Kathy, preceded him in death on December 17, 2010. Denny is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln where friends may call on Thursday, September 22 from 11 am until the funeral service at 1 pm.
