Harriet L. Schrade, 87, of Mikado died Friday, September 2, 2011 at Jamieson Nursing Home, Harrisville. She was born Nov. 8, 1923 in Haynes Township to Wilson and Laura (McNeil) Teeple. Raised in Haynes, Black River and Mikado, she graduated from Oscoda High School and married Harold Lovelace on Feb. 24, 1945 in Rochester Mi. He preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 1956. She then moved to Mikado and was married to Donald Schrade on April 7, 1962. She was a member of the Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Lincoln and its Ladies Aid, the Auxiliary to the V. F. W. Alcona Post #6466, was a former member of the Mikado Election Board and the Mikado Board of Review. She and Don enjoyed Square Dancing and were members of the Oscoda Shufflers. Her husband Don preceded her in death on June 11, 2011. She is survived by three daughters; Beverly (Allen) Travis of Harrisville, Priscilla (Ron) Deller of Harrisville, and Linda (Rick) Dickens of Madison, Alabama, four sons; Glen (Kay) Lovelace of Mikado, Daniel (Delynn) Lovelace of Mikado, Christopher (Mary Ellen) Lovelace of Glennie and Leslie (Deena) Schrade of Greensboro, North Carolina, 24 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren, four sisters, Louise Indish of Harrisville, Betty (Robert) Freer of Harrisville ,Marlene Conklin of Lincoln, Linda (Emmet) Treece of Orlando Fl., son in law, William Smith of Mikado, Brother in Law, Lloyd(Sharon) Schrade of Mikado, and sister in law Beatrice Schrade of Lincoln. Her daughter, Donna Smith preceded her in death on April 13, 1997. Friends may visit Tuesday, September 6, 2011 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln and on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral at 11:00 A.M..
