Judith K. Brilinski

Judi “Tilly” K. Brilinski, 72, of Spruce, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Lincoln Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. Born October 29, 1938 to Raymond and Alma (McLaughlin) Kamischke in Detroit, she was raised in Highland Park. She was a longtime resident of Spruce. Tilly was the bar manager for The Wagon Wheel in Ossineke for many years, and a member of the Ossineke Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3762, as well as a former member of the Alpena Moose Lodge 571. She lived life to the fullest, and enjoyed swimming, the beach, bingo and ceramics. Tilly was a funny, caring woman who was loved by all. Her husband; Henry Brilinski preceded her in death in 1993. Tilly is survived by one daughter; Cyndi Hull of Oxford, one son; Lennert Brilinski of Hubbard Lake, four grandchildren; Amber, Shawn and Brandy Brilinski, and Jenna Hull, one sister; Marilynn Schlott of Gainesville, FL, as well as several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister; Rita Carnish, and a brother; Jerry Kamischke. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the American Lung Association, 25900 Greenfield Road, Suite 401, Oak Park MI 48237.
