Lucille Jobin, 91, of Lincoln, died Saturday. June 9, 2007 at home. Born December 18, 1915 to Albert and Margaret (Johnson) Joseph in Barton City she was raised there. Lucille married Paul Jobin on March 22, 1930 in Harrisville. They moved to Twining in1948 where Lucille owned and operated the Twining Café until moving to Lincoln in 1972. Her husband preceded her in death on June 14, 1995. She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church of Harrisville and its Altar Society. Survivors include a daughter, Joanne (Jack) Ward of Whittemore, a son, James (Lena) Jobin of Mt. Morris, a sister, Norma Tibor of Coleman, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren. Lucille was also preceded in death by a son, Carl in 1951, a grandson, Denny and four sisters. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4- 8 P.M. at Gillies Funeral Home (Gillies Funeralhomes.com) Lincoln, where a wake service will be held at 7 P.M. Funeral mass will be Thursday at 11 A.M. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Harrisville, Rev. Peter Eke officiating. Prayers will be at the funeral home at 10 A.M. Burial will be St. Anne Cemetery, Harrisville. A memorial fund in Lucille’s name is being established. Donations will be accepted at the funeral home.
