Ellen L. Miller

Ellen L. Miller age 89 of Harrisville died Thursday, June 9, 2011 at home. She was born June 27, 1921 in Pickford Mi to William and Abigail (Lattrell) Pemberton, and was raised in DeTour. On June 10, 1940 she married Raymond A. Miller in Toledo. They were longtime Bay City residents, moving to Harrisville in 1983, where they had vacationed for many years. She was a member of the Trinity Ev Lutheran Church of Lincoln. Her husband preceded her in death on December 31, 2000. She is survived by one daughter, Dee-Ellen(James) Cook of Ocala, Fl, one son Paul (Barbara) Miller of Linwood, five grandchildren, Paulette Sramkowski, Raymond Paul Miller, Carisa Herzburg, Molly Dee Pitts and Suzette Parker and eight great grandchildren. Three sisters, Beatrice Rikle, Marian Sobery and Estelle Herbert and one brother, Albert Pemberton preceded her in death. A memorial service for Mrs. Miller will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Trinity Ev Lutheran Church in Lincoln MI. Rev Michael Sheppard will officiate. Her ashes will be interred at the Mt. Joy Cemetery, Haynes Township. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
