Ruth Geraldine Mallory Ruth G. Mallory 93, of Harrisville died peacefully on 6-7-2011, at home with her family at her side. Ruth was born February 23rd, 1918, in Lincoln to the late Theresa and Earl Schram. On October 21, 1934 she married Stanley Nelson Mallory and he preceded her in death on December 14th, 1981. Ruth had worked for the Lincoln Senior Center for several years. She had twelve children, all graduated with five boys serving in the armed forces. Ruth milked cows on their farm, and loved working in her flower gardens. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Lincoln Chapter #184, The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls #91 of Lincoln, The Harrisville Ladies Bug Club, and of the Harrisville VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are four daughters: Constance Kinnee and Marilyn Mallory of Harrisville, Vandetta Mallory of Osage Kansas and Rosalie (Richard G. ll) Ittner of Rogers City, Five sons: Richard (MaryAnn) of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, Keith of Flint, Donald (Terresa) of Del Valle, Texas and Gary and Dale Mallory of Harrisville, 35 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren and 8 great, great grandchildren. Also two brothers: LeRoy (Denise) Schram of Mt Vernon, Kentucky and Hazen (Barb) Schram of Lincoln. Preceding her in death was two daughters Gloria Dault, Joan Mallory and one son Stanley Arnold, one sister Bernice Graham and four brothers: Lloyd, Earl Jr., Virgil and Everett Schram. Mrs. Mallory is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where visitation will take place on Thursday, June 9 from 3 until 8 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, June 10, from 12 noon until the funeral service at 1pm. Rev. Tracy Brooks will officiate. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery, Harrisville.
