Chad Austin Killen

Chad Austin Killen of Brighton, Michigan, passed away May 5, 2011. Chad was born May 6, 1992 in Alpena and was in the tenth grade in the Bay City School system. He enjoyed track, basketball, and flag-football. Chad was active in the Awana Club. An avid outdoorsman, Chad liked hunting, fishing, and camping. He especially enjoyed bump and runs, and was always willing to help others when needed. He is survived by his father; William “Billy” Killen of Fenton, his mother; Diana (Schmidt) Orban of Barton City; 1 brother; Eric Morang, 1 sister; Ashley Morang, his maternal grandparents; Elaine LeClair and Edward Schmidt and paternal grandmother Sue Stratton; 17 aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents; Lillian and Leo LeClair and paternal grandparent; Alf Killen. Memorial service will be held Saturday June 4, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln.
