Dorothy M. Rumminger

Dorothy M. Rumminger, 88, of Grand Blanc, formerly of Lincoln (Lost Lake Woods Club), passed away Monday, May 16, 2011 at home. She was born August 23, 1922 in Detroit to Fred and Marie (Black) Smelesky and married William J. Rumminger on October 27, 1945. They were long time residents of Lost Lake Woods Club, later moving to Grand Blanc. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Hubbard Lake. She is survived by her husband; William, one daughter; Joy Rumminger-Metevier of Lincoln, two sons; William James (Carol) Rumminger of Grand Blanc and Thomas Nelson Rumminger of Hudson FL, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. There will be a memorial service on Friday, May 27, at 11:00 A.M. at Hope Lutheran Church in Hubbard Lake. A luncheon will follow at Lost Lake Woods Club in Lincoln.
