Joyce J. Spinney

Joyce J. Spinney, 71, of Harrisville died Sunday, May 6, 2007 at home. Born January 30, 1936 in Flint to Kenneth S. and Cora M. (Baker) Wilcox, Joyce was raised in Flint and Davison. On August 20, 1955 she married Melvin Spinney. They moved to Harrisville in 1991 from Davison and have wintered in Bradenton since 1991. Joyce was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Oscoda. Survivors include her husband and two daughters, Denise Richardson of Fenton and Michelle Ernst of Lapeer, one son, Mark (Mary) Spinney of Davison, seven grandchildren, Brooke and Brittney Richardson, Brian, Eric and Kara Ernst, Chelsey and Matthew Spinney and one great granddaughter, Ashton Hedrick. A memorial service will held Saturday, May 12, 11 A.M. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Oscoda. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
