John Edward Carnahan

John E. Carnahan, 73, of Black River, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Jamieson Nursing Home in Harrisville. Born November 28, 1937, to Malcolm and Pauline (Lass) Carnahan in Black River, MI he was raised there. John served in the United States Air Force, and worked as a Machinist. In 1998, he retired to Black River, where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. John is survived by four sisters; Minnie Campbell, Linda Ramin, Mabel Potts, and Elaine Carnahan, two brothers; William and Andrew Carnahan, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five sisters and six brothers. Cremation arrangements have been made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
