Alice Maude Apsey

Alice M. Apsey, 86, of Lincoln died Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at Alpena Regional Medical Center. Born October 26, 1920 in Lincoln to Joseph and Clara (Tacia) Ritchie, Alice was raised in Lincoln and attended school in Flint. On November 9, 1940 she married Norman Apsey. They farmed and lived in Hawes Township. Alice drove bus for the Alpena-Alcona Intermediate School district for several years. She attended the First Baptist Church of Lincoln. Her son Ricky preceded her in death on January 25, 1974 as did her husband on January 29, 2007, four brothers Herman Ritchie, Howard Ritchie, Douglas Ritchie and Lloyd Ritchie also preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Wayne (Vicky), Roy (Beverly) and Lloyd, all of Lincoln, 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Friends may call at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln from 2-8 P.M. on Friday, April 27, 2007 and on Saturday, April 28, 2007 from 10:00 A.M until the funeral at 1 P.M., Rev.Arnie Kirschner will officiate.
