Thomas "Shorty" Palmer

Thomas “Shorty” Palmer, 60, of Harrisville, passed away March 6, 2011 at home. Born September 28, 1950 to William and Dorothy (Sihler) Palmer in Detroit, he has been a resident of Harrisville for the past 40 years. Shorty was a welder at Kalitta Air of Oscoda. He loved motorcycles and had worked on the most of his life. He is survived by two sisters; Dorothy (Robert) Le May of Brimley, and Christine (Thomas) Eddolls of Ida, two brothers; Gene and Bruce (Carla) of Harrisville, as well as one niece,Christina and two nephews, Aaron and Levohn. Cremation arrangements were handled through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
