Phyllis B. Raynak, 89, of Greenbush, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2010, at Alpena Regional Medical Center. Born July 4, 1921, to Albert and Grace (Harrison) Browne in Clayton Township, MI, she was raised there. On October 12, 1940, she married Frank Raynak in Midland, and they were residents of Hamtramck, before moving to Greenbush in 1944. Phyllis was an active member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Harrisville. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, and gardening. Phyllis had a busy social life, which included card clubs, bingo, and the Birthday Club. She was also a member of the Greenbush Chamber of Commerce. Phyllis is survived by two sons; Ronald Raynak of Oscoda, and Jerome (Dody) Raynak of Flint, six grandchildren; Chris, Ronda, Guy, Dana, Julie, and Dan, 5 great grandchildren; Brian, Ellen, Britney, Sage, and Jack, and two sisters; Barb (Louie) Nagy of Brown City, and Donna Hartwick of Flint. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank on September 3, 1973, her son Gary Raynak, and three brothers. Mrs. Raynak is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln where visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 29 from 2 until 6 pm. Visitation continues on Thursday, December 30 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Harrisville from 10 am until the Funeral Mass at 11 am. Rev. Fr. Bob Bissot will officiate.
